We can provide the most basic AV components for your church, or we can design an elaborate full-scale AV system design. We want to work with your staff to create an audio-visual experience for your congregation that speaks to their hearts, but stays hidden as much as possible.
St. Augustine cathedral's existing sound system was unintelligible in the congregation, hindering the weekly services of full-bodied sound. Due to the architecture, the santuary defaults to an extremely long reverberation.
During the sanctuary renovation, AVR provided and installed an entirely new sound reinforcement system. System included highly directional column type Line-Array loudspeakers to penetrate the sanctuary reverberation. Additional equipment included a 16”x18” digital signal processor with remote control, four headworn wireless microphone systems and a new gooseneck pulpit microphone. A CD recorder was part of the system and a wireless hearing assist system with portable receivers were installed. A portable cart with a 16 channel mixer and CD recorder was provided for choir use. Two high quality choir microphones were provided.
